Crimea adopts declaration of independence

The Supreme Council of Crimea and the Sevastopol City Council have both passed the Declaration of Independence based on the UN Charter and the decision of the UN International Court of Justice for Kosovo made on July 22, 2010.Crimea and Sevastopol will join Russia if people vote for that at the referendum of March 16, 2014. Crimea declares itself a democratic, secular and multiethnic state.
