Iran wants to cooperate with Oman

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has expressed an interest in cooperating with Oman, Trend reports.

Concerning importance of the Gulf and the Arabian Sea for Iran, he emphasized that the development of relations with neighbours was a priority for the country. He noted that a set of international and regional affairs was discussed and will be followed by talks about realization of agreements.

Rouhani plans to meet Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said of Oman and other high-ranking officials during his two-day visit to Oman. Rouhani is assisted by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Petroleum Minister Namdar Zanganeh.
