Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania has met his Italian counterpart Roberta Pinotti in Italy, Trend reports.
The ministers proposed an intensification of contacts.
Alasania described the military reforms in Georgia, participation in the ISAF missions and plans after the Afghan peacekeeping operation. Pinotti expressed satisfaction with the processes in Georgia and praised Georgia for progress in Euro-Atlantic integration.
