Georgia will open an International Education Center to work on problems of education and development of the country, said Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili at a meeting with students of the Tbilisi State University, Trend reports.
The US will grant $140 million for the center within the framework of the Millennium Challenges project.
The International Education Center will start with listing the highest-demand professions and then training specialists. Students sent by the government to study abroad will sign contracts obliging them to work for it after the studies.
