A new school and a multifunctional sports hall have opened in Ingushetia on September 1st, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Minister of Edcuation of the republic, Lema Izmaylova.
The school opened for 540 students in the village of Aki-Yurt, the sports hall opened in Ekazhevo.
Izmaylova said that 117 out of 118 schools were prepared for the school year.
Boarding school No1 in Nazran is still under restoration within the federal purpose program and will have been completed by October 10th. All its students have been accomodated at the ‘Caucasus’ sanatorium in Kabardino-Balkaria.
Ingush President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was at the opening.
