Members of the "self-defense of Maidan" will receive military training. "We decided to appeal to the leadership of our country on the organization of training for members of the self-defense," a centurion of the self-defense forces Oleg Mikhnyuk is quoted by Interfax.
The training, he said, will take place at the interior troops base in New Petrivtsi (Kiev region) for two weeks. The first shift will involve 450 fighters of the self-defense.
People aged 18 to 50 years old without medical conditions may participate in the exercises.
Many of the self-defense fighters, says Mikhnyuk, are ready to consider entering into military service in parts of the Ukrainian National Guard and other security forces.
