European Court of Human Rights receives complaint of Ukraine

The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has received a complaint from Ukraine accusing Russia of violating article 33 of the European Convention on Human Rights (Interstate cases), ITAR-TASS reports.

The Court urges both sides to refrain from any actions that could violation human rights. Russia was recommended to abstain from actions threatening the lives and health of the Ukrainian population, according to article 39 of the Convention.
