NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow has met Mustafa Jemilev, ex-Speaker of the Majlis of Crimean Tatars, in Brussels, ITAR-TASS reports.
They had a closed-door meeting and plan to give the press no details of their talks.
Crimea will hold a referendum on March 16.
