Russian Minister for Economic Development Alexey Ulyukayev told European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht that Russia will help Crimea regardless of the referendum results, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to the minister, Russia will grant Crimea $1 billion, about $80-90 million every month. $5 billion more will be spent on investment projects by Russian companies.
Ulyukayev noted that no sanctions had been discussed during talks with the commissioner. He expressed hope that there will be no anti-Russian sanctions.
