Nato announced recently that it is going to enhance efforts aimed at Georgia joining the North Atlantic Alliance. Nato member states are now set to draft a road map.
However, according to Georgian experts, these statements are simply intended to show Russia that Nato is interested in the former Soviet republics and that the body is going to support such countries as Georgia and Ukraine in response to Russia's policies.
No definite actions will follow these claims, the expert believes.
