The sanctions against Iran will not bring the desired results, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with the first-year students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, RBK reports.
The problem of Iran concerns the imperfection of the non-proliferation regime, which should be based on international law, he said.
The diplomat noted that any problems should be discussed without using force. He added that Iran should provide cooperation with IAEA.
