Today's referendum devoted to the Crimea's status is proceeding in a calm atmosphere with turnout very high, ITAR-TASS cites the Autonomous Republic's Prime Minister Sergey Aksyonov as saying.
Aksyonov argues that, despite an official boycott of the referendum, the Crimean Tatars, a local ethnic minority, are taking part in the polls.
