93 percent of Crimean residents voted for joining the Russian Federation during a referendum held on Sunday, exit-polls show. Crimeans were expected to chose between restoring the 1992 Constitution of Crimea and joining Russia.
The referendum has been condemned by the Ukrainian government, the US and the EU.
