Crimea proclaims independence

The Supreme Council of Crimea has proclaimed the independence of the peninsula. Crimea plans to form relations with other countries basing on principles of equality, peace, good-neighbourhood and other recognized principles of political, economic and cultural cooperation between countries. Crimea requests the UN and all countries to recognize its independence.
