The EU has decided to "impose sanctions, including visa bans and the freezing of bank assets against 21 officials of Russia and Ukraine," the Foreign Minister of Lithuania, Lynas Linkevičius, said today.
The list of officials has not yet been made public; it will be known only after publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, according to ITAR -TASS.
The head of Lithuanian diplomacy also stated additional measures to put pressure on Russia may be considered at the EU summit scheduled for March 20-21, in particular further expansion of the "blacklist" and a possible arms' embargo.
