U.S. President Barack Obama has signed an order imposing sanctions against senior Russian and Ukrainian politicians, the White House has stated.
The sanctions have been imposed in response to Moscow's actions in the Ukrainian crisis. Suspects on the list will be denied entry to the United States, and their assets and property will be frozen.
The list includes the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin , Vladislav Surkov, Sergei Glazyev, deputies Yelena Mizulina, Leonid Slutsky and Andrei Klishas, Sergei Aksenov, Vladimir Konstantinov, Victor Medvedchuk and Viktor Yanukovych.
