Speaker of Russian parliament calls annexation of Crimea historic

Sergey Naryshkin, Speaker of the Lower House of the Russian Parliament, Said at a meeting with legislators of Crimea and Sevastopol that unification with them was a historic and breakthrough moment of world history, RIA Novosti reports.

He called the 23 years of life in Crimea a torturous expectation of unification. The speaker noted that Russia had been losing territories since 1993 and had finally taken its land and people back.
