The United States is ready to impose additional sanctions on Russia in response to the country's annexation of the Crimea. According to a spokesman for the White House, Jay Carney, the new sanctions are going to affect Russia's top businessmen close to President Putin.
Russia will have to pay a great price for its policies, if it doesn't respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, Carney says.
