Russia starts issuing passports to Crimean residents

Following Russian-Crimean agreement concerning the republic's accession to the Russian Federation, the Russian Federal Service of Migration has started issuing passports to Crimean residents, the body's chief Konstantin Romodanovsky says.

 

"All those who will apply for a Russian passport will get it. This process has already started," he said.
