284 members of the Ukrainian parliament have voted for a declaration guaranteeing the protection of the Crimean-Tatar population, ITAR-TASS reports.
The document was proposed by MP Pyotr Poroshenko. Ukraine recognizes the Majlis as the executive structure of the Kurultai of the Crimean-Tatar population.
