Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has met Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, ITAR-TASS reports.
The mayor described the religious, historic and cultural value of Jerusalem. He expressed interest in the social and economic life of Chechnya.
Barkat and Kadyrov will encourage cultural and economic ties. Kadyrov invited Barkat to visit the republic at any time.
Their meeting was organized after the opening of the Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov Mosque in Abu Ghosh. The Chechen leader was invited for the opening.
