Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has met Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, in Hague, News.am reports.
Sargsyan emphasized the value of relations with Amsterdam and cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, science and other sectors.
Trade-economic ties play a special role in the bilateral cooperation of Armenia and the Netherlands. The latter is one of Armenia’s biggest EU trade partners. The president and the PM proposed further development of cooperation. The sides plan to intensify cooperation in information technologies, agriculture, pharmaceutics.
Sargsyan noted the importance to realize the declaration made at the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
