Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini said that Italy did not want Russia to be booted from G8, ITAR-TASS reports.
Mogherini criticized the EU for the crisis in Ukraine and noted that Brussels realized the repercussions too late. She assumed that the EU should have made the association agreement compatible with the Customs Union.
The Italian diplomat admitted that EU members had problems finding a common foreign political line.
