The spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, has said that Moscow is still interested in cooperating with a G8, despite having its membership in the organization frozen, Interfax reports.
The other G8 states froze Russia out of the format at the Hague yesterday. Peskov reminded that Russia had always been eager to cooperate with its partners in the East and West.
