CSTO will not send troops to Ukraine

The CSTO will not send Rapid Reaction Forces to Ukraine, according to the treaty of June 14, 2009, CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zaynetdinov said, ITAR-TASS reports.Any deployment of the forces requires the permission of all CSTO members.The statement was made in response to Kyrgyz lawmaker Tursunbay Bakir uulu, who had mentioned deployment of CSTO forces to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
