Stavropol Territory and Adygeya to receive grants for efficient work of executive authorities

According to the law on the federal budget for 2010 and the plan for
2011 and 2012, Russian Premier Vladimir Putin has signed a decree
providing budget grants to 20 regions that demonstrate the efficient
work of their executive authorities. The Stavropol Territory is 12th
in the top 20 and may expect 30 million rubles from the federal
budget, Yuga.ru reports.


The press-service of the administration of state information policy of
the government of Stavropol Territory reported that the work of
regional authorities was rated by the Ministry of Regional
Development. Experts considered healthcare, education, housing and
utilities, construction, social security, road economy, economic
development, organization of state and municipal management.


The experts were studying wages, number of employees, doctors and
medical staff in healthcare. They were comparing the levels of
interior products per person, as well as people engaged in small
business, unemployment in economy.


They were also considering the rate of development in the three-year
period of 2007-2009. Another southern Russian republic that
demonstrated a high rating is Adygeya.
