The Russian Federal Migration Service has started work on a bill on migration control focused on the prevention of illegal migration, Yuga.ru reports.
The Federal Service, according to the bill, will be given the power to check IDs of foreigners, search through their belongings, demand documents, as well as control the law obedience of individuals, legal bodies and businessmen in the sector of migration.
