The Ukrainian parliament has appointed Zurab Alasania, a journalist from Kharkov, as the director general of the Ukrainian National TV Company on March 25, News Georgia reports.
Alasania was introduced to the Cabinet by media officials Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk had met before the cabinet session the previous morning.
