The Russian Foreign Ministry says it is monitoring the situation surrounding the Russian population's rights in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports on Wednesday. The body argues that the basic rights of ethnic Russians living in Ukraine are cconstantly being violated, ITAR-TASS reports.
At the same time, the Yatsenyuk government has underlined several times that it is committed to the idea of human rights and is going to protect all Ukrainian citizens, no matter what their ethnicity, cultural identity or native language.
