Ukraine suggests resolution to UN confirming its territorial integrity

Ukraine has suggested a draft resolution to the United Nations confirming its territorial integrity. The document is now set to be discussed by the general Assembly. A previous document discussed by the Security Council was vetoed by Russia.

 

According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Evgen Perebiynis, Ukraine believes the UN should voice its support for the country's sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence.
