Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Yuri Boyko filed documents to the Central Electoral Commission yesterday to stand for president, Interfax reports.
The other four candidates for president are ex-Governor of the Kharkov Oblast Mikhail Dobkin, ex-Vice Prime Minister Sergey Tigipko, President of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress Vadim Rabinovich and ex-Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin. The latter has already registered.
March 30 will be the final day to announce readiness to stand for president and April 4 will be the final day to file documents. The elections will be held on May 25.
