Iran rejects territorial claims of UAE

Iran has rejected territorial claims of the United Arab Emirates for the Greater and Lesser Tunbs and Abu Musa in the Gulf, as said in the final communiqué concluding the Arab League summit in Kuwait yesterday, according to spokeswoman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Marzieh Afkham.The spokeswoman noted that Iran and other states had archive documents proving that the islands belonged to Iran. The Islamic Republic insists that any disputes should be resolves via dialogue and cooperation.
