Russian halts passport-issuing in Crimea

The Russian Federal Migration Service has halted issuing of international passports to the population of Crimea. The process will be renewed as soon as all the necessary structures are formed, according to Sergey Kalyuzhny, deputy head of the Federal Migration Service, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian president ordered development of territorial executive structures in Crimea and Sevastopol by March 29, 2014.
