Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili has rejected online questioning offered by the Prosecutor General’s Office because he does not want to “play games with ex-Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili,” as he stated after a meeting with Ukrainian PM Yulia Tymoshenko in Kiev, Trend reports.
“The example of Mrs. Tymoshenko shows how such campaigns end and what it means to use prosecution,” he noted. Saakashvili added that the processes in Georgia were not under control of the formal head of state.
Saakashvili refused to arrive at the Prosecutor General’s Office for questioning on March 27.
