Fewer officials to carry guns in Georgia

Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili has passed a decree to limit gun carriage among functionaries, Trend reports.The president’s decree N111 says that the following decrees will lose force: presidential decree N430 (September 3, 2003) on awarding functionaries with guns; decree N538 (October 27, 2003) on the list of functionaries carrying weapons; decree N750 (December 18, 2006) on the rules of carrying, storing weapons; decree N570 (September 30, 2011) on the rules of ammo and shell transportation for service weapons.
