Federal university to open in Crimea

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has said at a council for Crimea development in Simferopol that he will discuss the formation of a federal university based on universities on the peninsula, Interfax reports.Medvedev, vice prime ministers and a large group of federal ministers are currently visiting Simferopol.Presidential Aide Andrey Fursenko said last week that he considered opening the 10th federal university in Simferopol. He noted that Crimean pupils will be able to enter any Russian university.
