The presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Dmitry Medvedev and Ilham
Aliyev, note the importance of the Russian leader's visit to Baku in
developing ties between the two countries, News Azerbaijan reports.
Aliyev characterized the ties as "honest, good-neighbourly relations
between strategic partners". Medvedev agreed.
Medvedev said that constant meetings between the two presidents in
Moscow, Baku and other summits are a guarantee of strong ties.
