Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed by telephone with German Chancellor Angela Merkel the opportunities for international help to restore stability in Ukraine, noting the importance of constitutional reform in the country, the press service of the Kremlin reports.
"Various aspects of the situation in Ukraine, including the possibility of international assistance to restore stability, have been discussed. Vladimir Putin has also stressed the importance of constitutional reform in the country, focused on ensuring the legitimate interests of the inhabitants of all Ukrainian regions," the statement says , according to RIA Novosti.
