Ilham Aliyev congratulates Erdogan on election victory

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has telephoned Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The President congratulated the Turkish prime minister on the landslide victory of the Party of Justice and Development in the municipal elections and sent the brotherly people of Turkey wishes for prosperity and progress, Trend reports.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Ilham Aliyev for the attention and congratulations.

The Azerbaijani President and Turkish Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries in all fields and exchanged views on issues relating to the prospects for their relations.
