The first ladies of Azerbaijan and Russia, Mehriban Aliyeva and
Svetlana Medvedeva have met, News Azerbaijan reports, citing the
press-service of Heydar Aliyev Fund.
Mehriban Aliyeva, the wife of the Azerbaijani president, president of
Heydar Aliyev Fund, Ambassador of Goodwill of UNESCO and ISESCO,
deputy of Azerbaijani parliament, welcomed the first lady of Russia,
Svetlana Medvedeva.
They exchanged views about the prospects of expanding and
strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries in various
spheres.
