UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has announced preparations for the so-called Geneva-3 Conference for Syria and urged Russia and the US to back up the initiative, ITAR-TASS reports.
The UN chief admitted that Geneva-2 was fruitless. Ban Ki-moon said that the US and Russia should encourage all sides to demonstrate a constructive approach.
