The EU-US council for energy having a session in Brussels today has commended Ukraine’s efforts to diversity sources of natural gas, build a competitive energy economy, implement energy efficiency, achieve higher transparency on the market, integrate in the European energy market, Interfax reports.
The council has confirmed commitment of Ukraine to the laws needed for realization of the strategic vision of full integration of Ukraine in the European energy market.
The council was chaired by EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton and US Secretary of State John Kerry.
