Results of municipal polls may be nullified in 7 Turkish cities

Results of the March 30 municipal polls in Turkey’s Istanbul, Ankara, Adan, Izmir, Sanliurfa, Van and Kutahya may be nullified. Opposition has request a recount of votes, Trend reports.

The ruling Justice and Development Party won the parliamentary polls in Ankara, Kutahya, Istanbul and Sanliurfa. The Turkish National Action Party won in Adana, the Peace and Democracy Party won in Van, Republican People’s Party in Izmir.

The Justice and Development Party won the recent municipal polls with 45.6% of votes.
