Russian President Dmitry Medvedev thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart
for support in putting out the fires that hit Russia in August 2010,
RIA Novosti reports.
He also said that two other Russian regions have since been hit.
Medvedev said at a news-conference that they would work on repairing
the damage.
