The Swiss Confederation has imposed sanctions on 33 of Russia's top officials, including Speaker of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
Thus Switzerland followed the European Union, which has already sanctioned Russia's most prominent officials.
