The Prosecutor General’s Office has ordered the arrest of Ukrainian ex-President Victor Yanukovych, ex-Chief of the Ukrainian National Security Service Alexander Yakimenko, as stated by Chief of the Service Valentine Nalivaychenko, ITAR-TASS reports.
Yanukovych and some ex-functionaries of Ukraine were put on the wanted list in late February. The new government of Kiev blames them for the deaths of activists in the Ukrainian capital on February 18-22. The ex-president is charged under Article 115 part 2, clause 1 of the Criminal Code (the murder of two or more people).
