Speaker of the Lower House of the Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin said that Russia will send observers to South Ossetia for the June 8 parliamentary polls, RIA Novosti reports.
He noted that Russian legislators had that the polls will be organized according to the international norms.
The Russian lawmaker stated that the 4.18 billion rubles granted to South Ossetia in 2013 were spent efficiently. He reminded that Russia and South Ossetia had 70 bilateral documents ratified.
