The Russian Defense Ministry will have an unscheduled session in Moscow to discuss the further activities of the ministry in Crimea, ITAR-TASS reports. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said at the National Center for Defense Control on Monday that the General Staff of the Armed Forces was developing the action plan for 2014-2020. The plan will be studied on April 4.
Shoygu noted that meetings had been organized with military authorities of Crimea and Sevastopol on March 24 to analyze the situation. Authorities of the Defense Ministry and the Southern Military District discussed development of forces on the Crimean Peninsula.
Authorities of the Russian Armed Forces, state structures and the Defense Ministry Public Council will take part in the unscheduled session.
