PACE session opens in Strasburg

Strasburg is hosting the spring session of PACE today, ITAR-TASS reports.

Attendants of the meeting plan to discuss sanctions against Russia over annexation of Crimea and authority of Russian delegates at the Assembly.

Alexey Pushkov, head of the Russian delegation to the PACE and head of the Duma Committee for International Affairs, said that Robert Walter (UK) and Michael Michael Aastrup Jensen initiated discussion of Russia's right to vote at the PACE.
