The spokesman of the European Commission Frederik Vansan has stated that the EU have filed a lawsuit against Russia to the WTO for banning European pork, ITAR-TASS reports.
Russia banned the pork due to risks of African swine flu. Russia and the EU have failed to resolve the problem after months of consultations.
This is the second lawsuit the EU filed against Russia to the WTO. The first investigation was initiated over fees for the utilization of foreign vehicles.
